When you love your work every day is fun. Our work has us bouncing out of bed in the mornings and our clients benefit from that passion. We love what we do. We think you’ll love what we do too.
We’ll always tell you the truth, even when you might not like it. You can trust us on that.
To us professionalism means being reliable, approachable and flexible. We strongly believe in the importance of all three.
Justine McLeary – Co-owner
Justine’s a communications and PR consultant with more than 20 years’ experience that includes writing newspaper features, co-ordinating international press visits, organising women’s events, crisis communications in Civil Defence emergencies, promoting book launches, appearing on Brazilian TV shows and everything in between. She’s hand-fed lions, jumped out of planes, chased snakes in Vietnam and much more in the line of duty, but these days she prefers a quieter life spent publicising events and other people’s achievements.
Justine has a proven track record of getting national broadcast, print and online coverage, as well as regional publicity, for her clients.
When she’s not working Justine loves hanging out with family, running, travelling, reading and the beach, not necessarily in that order.
Nicole Leach – Co-owner
Nicole moved to the Eastern Bay of Plenty from the Kapiti Coast in 2019 with her two children. She loves the way of life in this beautiful part of New Zealand.
Nicole has more than 20 years of experience in event management, media, advertising, marketing and communications. Having been heavily involved in local events and media in Kapiti, she is excited by the opportunity to engage herself in the Whakatane community. She has a proven record of getting the job done and loves a good project to sink her teeth into.
Nicole loves the coastal lifestyle the Eastern Bay offers, and you’ll often find her at the beach swimming with her kids, immersed in a good book and walking.
Ella Howie – Communications co-ordinator
Ella grew up on a lifestyle block in North Canterbury and was lucky to experience the many perks of country life – equine pursuits, skiing, tramping, sports, bonfires and swimming in the river. She studied communications before the Christchurch earthquakes struck and has worked in retail, automotive, law and governance.
Now, among other things, Ella blogs regularly about her health journey with her daughter, who has an alphabet soup of complex heart conditions. She also does a fantastic job running things at Frolic behind the scenes. She loves to have a go at anything and we’d be lost without her.
“Justine’s writing is fantastic and the speed with which she can produce readable, informative copy tailored to different audiences never fails to amaze me.”
